"Rowan is a great mandolin player and a supportive teacher. He works with you to find the right practice material to focus on your musical goals. He always sets a piece in context, whether that's a traditional recording or a contemporary version. He can help you either transcribe breaks or work out new ones, creative but still grounded in tradition." "Rowan McCallister is a delightful combination of musical expertise, musical passion and a keen ability to work with children. He is a calm teacher, whose quiet passion has helped our son enjoy learning music." |
